CARRIACOU is still very much the undiscovered Caribbean, where time is kept by the passing sun. The Prospect nature preserve, with its macaws, is situated at the north-western corner of Carriacou immediately below High North nature park (1,000 acres): undoubtedly the most green and undeveloped part of the island. In 1784 the Prospect Plantation amounted to 131 acres.
