What's the road-time from Sao Paulo airport to ITAMAMBUCA?
I have done it in 3 hours. It takes about 1 1/2 hour to Sao Jose dos Campos and then 1 1/2 hours to Praia Grande going thru Taubate. You can go thru Caraguatatuba, it is more scenic but will add another hour to the trip but you should do it at least once. It has a pretty good nite life and has an island Ilha-Bela which has a lot of tourist stuff like wind surfing, boat and jet ski rentals, etc. etc.

Você pode atravessar Caraguatatuba, ele é mais cénico mas adicionará uma outra hora ao desengate mas você deve fazê-lo pelo menos uma vez. What can you say, just location location location! One of the best properties, this is right in front of the beach. Cross the road, and you will be in the sands! Located next door to one of the best resturants in town, this property is in the Itagua area of Ubatuba, which is very trendy, with a mix of locals and tourists, there is a great vibe in the area. This property would make a perfect investment, as it is so easy to let-out due to the outstanding views! The water is warm all year round and the surf varies. The mens surfing contest is in November in Itamambuca which is 17 km north of Praia Grande, but that does not necessarily mean good surf. About 17 km north is Itamambuca which is where the contests are held 3 times a year. On the web page if you go back to the original page go to the bottom on the right that says GATAS. That is pretty cool too.
