The value of land in this area in Acapulco is climbing rapidly, as the government is investing heavily in the area right now, and there is a new highway under construction at the moment, which will make it even quicker access to Mexico City (currently, it’s the closest beach resort to Mexico City, so Mexicans are their greatest clientele at present, as well as Europeans, Americans and Canadians). My idea is to have it as a sort of “chill-out lounge bar”, where the main DAY time life will be downstairs at the pool, and the main NIGHTtime life will be upstairs on the roof-deck. This particular beach is meant to have SOME OF THE BEST SUNSET VIEWS IN ALL OF MEXICO, which is why there is so much emphasis put on the rooftop.
Regardless of whether this land is used to build a hotel or condos or a private home, it is stunningly beautiful, and is the last lot available of this size, on the beachfront, so close to the heart of Acapulco (less than 6 miles away!). You feel like you are hours from anywhere, but in 20 minutes, you can be in some of the best bars and restaurants in all of Mexico. Another plus is that the land is across the street from the Coyuca Lagoon, offering even more to the prospective buyer, in terms of additional options, where you can water-ski, rent boats, kayak, canoe, jet-ski, etc.
