The land is close to of the village of Astris on the southern side of Thassos and benefits from one of the best climates on the island. Access from the mainland is via ferry boat to either Thassos town or Prinos. From Astris it is approximately 40 minutes by car to Thassos town, and the ferry from Thassos town to Keromote on the mainland takes 35 minutes. It is then a short 15 minute drive to Kavala's International Airport.
