-From Cancun International Airport, Merida is only a short hop away with several daily flights. Merida is just over three hours drive on a well-constructed highway. Cancun receives direct budget flights from numerous USA, Canadian and European cities.

-Flamingo Lakes lies on the Gulf Coast in SE Mexico close to the colonial city of Merida, capital of the State of Yucatan. -The Country Club membership encompasses the Beach Club, all the sports, leisure and recreation facilities on the Resort including the horse riding and the beautiful Nature Reserve. A stunning clubhouse will be the social heart of the Resort and will complement the 18 hole Parkland Course and the 9 hole Executive Course, both designed by John Jacobs Designs. John Jacobs Designs is a very experienced and highly reputable UK company. The course will be constructed and maintained to the highest standards. Full practice facilities will be available including a teaching academy. -Riding stables will be established with over twenty horses available for residents to ride around the Nature Reserve, paddocks and jumping courses. Various jogging and trim trails will be established around the sports ground and through our Nature Reserve.
