All the swims on the Lake give the angler a multitude of options. The margins, which are lined with Bull Rushes and Flag Iris, gently slope down from 2 to 8ft The lake bed has varying depths and is made up of a mix of hard & soft clay and plenty of features, all of which are ideal target areas for catching the impressive Carp that inhabit this lake, The features include gravel bars, a sunken tree stump, two medium sized sunken branches, some limestone boulders and a gully running the whole length of the lake from inlet to outlet.
