South Fork, Colorado is located at the southern end of the Silver Thread Scenic Byway where Highway 149 and Highway 160 intersect.

South Fork is ideal for guests who want to spend the day in a picturesque mountain landscape while enjoying various outdoor activities such as cross country skiing, snowmobiling, rafting on the Rio Grande River, trophy hunting, gold medal fishing, dirt biking, four-wheeling, horseback riding, along with countless other recreation and entertainment activities.
