For a second home we love San Jose for the weather, affordability, and cost of living. We have been there over a dozen times in the past three years for up to weeks at a time and have yet to see it rain. We like the Baja better than the main land of Mexico because there are less people and it is quieter and is safer, the natives from the mainland go to the Baja to vacation. It is a short four hour flight from Portland OR to San Jose. We compared Mexico to Hawaii and found that the costs in Mexico for association dues to be less than half, the insurance and taxes to be a fraction of what they are in Hawaii and the weather is better.

Take advantage of the current downturn is the market to purchase this unit for several hundred thousand dollars under the market value.
