Dry season begins 1st November, not middle December like most of CR, and the only really wet month is October, even then most mornings are sunny.
This is a perfect vacation or retirement place, it's the real Costa Rica, you will be amazed and delighted at the cleanliness and beautiful gardens, and the feeling of stepping back in time to a long lost world of peaceful rural life.

Sit by the pool, or have lunch (the food is pretty good too and inexpensive) and watch the rare Red Macaws sweep in flocks of 10 or more across the golf course.....Hotel Barcelo has a breeding and rescue progam and release them nearby, it's so wonderful to see them.
