It is situated in the center of the Principal Plaza. It was built as a private home and was being used as a small Boutique Hotel & Restaurant, CASA MONTANA,from 2000 until 2008. It's now being used as a private residence. The walls are 2 foot thick. Perfect to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the Winter. The outside walls are all hand cut stone. The interior is adobe with plaster. Construction was finished in Jan. 2000. All new except the wall facing the plaza. This one wall is Historical and can't be modified. It is the only wall that isn't hand cut stone.

This Stone Villa was designed to capture the old world charm of Mexico, yet has all the modern conveniences. (Built by an American, Susan Montana, who was on the site every day).

In every room there are French Doors and Windows that open to Patios, Balconies, or the upstairs Terrace.

There are three very large Master Bed Room Suites, all different. Each has a large comfortable sitting area for lounging while you read or watch TV, Ceiling Fans,and Emerald Green tiled bathrooms with lots of light. Beautiful hand carved beds, antique tables, comfortable sofas (queen sofa beds), chairs & coffee tables. All bedrooms have a beautiful fireplace and all French Doors open to balconies. (The house can sleep 12 comfortably with the use of the sofa beds in each bedroom.)

The Living Room has a stunning Crystal Chandelier, Large Fireplace, Mexican Nitch and comfortable furniture.

The Dining Room/Family Room combination has three antique beautiful Crystal Chandeliers, a large fireplace and an accent wall of stone. This room is approx 32 feet long. (Previously used as indoor dining for restaurant. Seats 30 to 34 people). This room opens to the flower filled dining patio on the entry level. Seats 20 people.

The Grand Kitchen has an Island, Mexican White Tile, a stainless steel commercial gas stove with burners, large oven, grill, griddle, deep fryer and salamander. There are 4 sinks and a large commercial refrigerator. Dishwasher hook up.

There is a covered open-air bar for entertaining and a full bath attached to it in the downstair patio. The flower garden is beautiful and there is plenty of room for a pool.(room to construct 4 to 6 more bedrooms plus a casita if needed).

All of the house has purified water. There is a private Well and city water.

There are 4 full baths and 2 half baths.

The house is being sold furnished. Art not included.

Liquor License available.

There is a small commercial lot next door that is available for purchase. If you take down the existing wall between the two properties, you can double the width of your garden, add more structure and have an entrance from two streets.

There is a very large laundry room. (There is a twin bed in the room for one of your staff to stay overnight, should you require this.)
