This house is end of terrace in a small historic hillside village. It would make an ideal small bed and breakfast as three of the bedrooms are on one floor and share a shower room. The owner/s can live in the studio/office on the level below and have access to their own bathroom or allow communal use, and the kitchen. There is a large living room with space for a dining table. The kitchen has a breakfast table too. The bedrooms are large and one even has a terrace looking up to the Apenine mountains behind.

There is a seperate garden with space for a small pool or jacuzzi. This is called the 'orto' or orchard, and is unique as it is surrounded by a wall and seperate from the house. Very rare feature in this part of Italy. It is accessible via a small door in an alley opposite the house.

The main bedroom and living room look out onto the Apuan Alps across the valley and the 'orto' below. The other two bedrooms are at the rear of the house.

The shower room and bathroom are brand new. The architect's designs are used instead of photos as the rooms are quite small and hard to get a good impression but are pretty much true to plan.

There is ample parking in the village car park behind the house and also a small park for kids.

The area is popular with hikers as there are several trails leading from the village and suroundings. Post office and restaurant are nearby as is a mainline station. There is a frequent mini-bus service to and from the main medieval town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana.

The house comes fully furnished and includes linens. All rooms have at least one window so very airy. It would make an ideal supplementary income for a retired person/s.
