Zimbabwe with its new dollar economy, has once again made holidays in Mozambique possible and affordable. The Lodge is an easy days drive from Harare. Vilanculos (90 k's South) has several permanent dive schools but Inhassorro doesnt have a single one making it a great prospect to either host or run one from El Hacienda. The distance to the Bazaruto archipelago's diving/fishing grounds is almost the same as that from Vilanculos.

Scope also exists for the hiring of sea kyaks/canoes and windsurfers to holiday makers. Teens constantly ask for this facility. We arrange many fishing charters with our neighbours since El Hacienda does not have a boat which, if one was aquired, would soon pay for itself. Space for expansion exists on present El Hacienda property and extra land, adjacent to the property, has been offered for purchase.
