The home is just minutes from shopping and dining in Roseau, capital of Dominca. A total of five bedrooms, three up, two down. The upper level has living and dining rooms, kitchen and den; two baths, one ensuite. The lower level has two bedrooms, one bath, a combined living dining area and kitchen.

A spacious veranda overlooks the Caribbean, just above Castle Comfort with its dive shops and whale watching tours. It has the advantage of privacy as well as being just minutes from shopping and restaurants in Roseau. Set in about a half acre of lush well-maintained garden, the property is surrounded by Dominican rain forest. Pick your own pineapples, mangoes, papayas, breadfruit, soursop and other fruits right on the land for your relaxed breakfast (which fruits are in season varies of course). Watch the cruise ships come in while you drink your morning coffee or tea. Watch them cruise into the sunset while you sip your wine, knowing you don't have to leave. And in between, marvel in the beauty of Dominica and its people. Our home is the "Featured Property" featured rental property on the web site. They manage rentals in our absence.

Dominica, the Nature Island, lives up to its reputation as a top eco-tourism location. We had looked for years for our place in the sun and fell in love with Dominica as soon as we arrived. Snorkeling and diving are among the best in the world. Activities also include whale watching tours, snorkeling, jungle hikes, trips to amazing waterfalls, and more. Three dive shops are at the foot of our hill. The Villa is a few minutes from downtown Roseau.
