Description of buildings

The property is comprised of a large stone farmhouse and an outbuilding for a total of 520 m² and is surrounded by 6,300 m² of private land with a small lake and well.
The recently completed renovation was carried out with graceful taste and in full consideration for the original materials in order to maintain the charm and luster of time past.
The large size of the house and its multiple entrances provides great flexibility in use with the possibility to use the day areas along with some of the rooms of the main dwelling, and leave other areas to be used as separate suites for friends and guests.
The living room is accessed from the main entry. It is a characteristic and cozy space, constructed in what once was the stable of the house. A large fireplace is in the center of the day area, made up of two rooms separated by arches and connected to a third room overlooking the garden. From here, we enter the dining room and kitchen with a cathedral ceiling, bright and airy. A practical island for the stovetop is in the center of the room, functional and minimalist. Condition

Rarely does one find a house that does not only have an excellent location but also has been attentively and accurately restored. Everything inside it brings to mind traditional Tuscan farmhouses, simple and sober. The materials and original spaces were knowingly rehabilitated and combined with a few modern, minimalist, and functional elements that provide a touch of color and give the dwelling a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, often with cathedral ceilings, and have excellent quality finishes. Although dominated by natural lighting, the artificial solutions are original and never intrusive, as is the case of spotlights that gradually light up the interior walls from below. The few colorful elements of furnishing stand out on the neutral tones of the textured plastered walls in natural earth tones. The original antique cotto floor was kept in the living room while the kitchen and bedrooms have been clad in large slabs of limestone. The ceilings are traditional. Wooden beams and cotto tiles; the solid wood doors and windows and the ancient original doors become a furnishing, reminding us once again of the farmhouse’s true nature.
Outdoor space

A splendid outside courtyard opens up in front of the main entrance. It has ancient stone slabs, and evokes thoughts of enjoying scrumptious outdoor breakfasts and dinners. The 6,300 m² of private land is an oasis in the middle of grape vines and includes a well and pond. A swimming pool could be built if desired.
