This land is located in the Karnare village which provides a road from South to North Bulgaria. It is also approximately 70 km North of Plovdiv, the second largest city in Bulgaria. Plovdiv is located on the main A1 Highway connecting Western Europe and Turkey, as well as the Near East.

Just about 2 km away, there is an approved plan for construction of a tunnel under Stara Planina (Old Mountain). This tunnel would be the gateway between Northern and Southern Bulgaria.
