Our much loved country home with it's stunning architectural features, really does have the WOW factor and we will miss every bit of it when we move. Sadly, it is just too big for us now. It is perfect for either year-round living or as an investment with fantastic holiday rental potential. Situated on a small, select urbanisation and registered with the Local Authority for council tax and with all mains services connected, the house has been constructed for year-round comfort and ease of use.

Our beautiful home sits on a gentle slope, with panoramic views across the valley floor, a verdant carpet of orange trees, to the craggy mountain tops of the Sierra Agulles. The delightful, friendly village of Barraca d’Aigues Vives is just a level five minute walk away – shops, medical centre, bank, primary school, church, bars and restaurants – for all your daily needs. The Aguas Vivas private hospital, historic Monastery and a world class golf club presently under construction are right outside the front door and for those for whom education facilities are paramount, the prestigious English School of Alzira nestles amongst the pines and orange trees at the foot of the mountains - a nicer learning environment would be hard to find.

Our fantastic neighbours range from infants to some very lively seniors and we are truly an international bunch. Our Spanish neighbours, of course, form the largest group but we also have neighbours from the UK, France, Belgium, Portugal and Poland. The annual urbanisation get-together is great fun with everyone doing their bit for the festivities!

Think you might miss the hustle and bustle of city life, or maybe some exciting nightlife,from time to time ? The old Muslim Arabic walled city of Alzira is just a short hop away. The local folk just love to party and the fiestas, like the world famous Fallas, are not to be missed. The two nearest towns, Alzira and Tavernes de la Valldigna both have railway stations offering a regular and reliable service to Valencia main station, from where there is a metro link to Valencia airport and fast train links to Barcelona, Madrid and Alicante.
