If you miss the big city, it's not hard to get there. The airport in Tambor is just twenty five minutes away and the ferry doc ten minutes in the other direction. Hop a flight to San Jose and beyond or take the ferry into Puntarenas for a bit of shopping. Costa Rica and Paquera in particular are big on family. Before you know it everyone will know your name and greet you on the street like an old friend.
