EVERY plant, every tile, window, door, glass block, light, etc. etc. – have been personally chosen by my wife and I. We read several books on designer houses, went to the best supply houses, chose every item to match. This is a unique SEA-oriented house. The view from the third floor is spectacular! A sun deck wraps around the beach side – great for parties or star-gazing! Crystal-clear water has been designated as a fish sanctuary. Two huge separated seawalls protect the house from even a tsunami. (The surrounding islands arrangement makes the area tsunami-proof anyway.)
Gravel road leads to tiled fence and double gate that swings wide for entry. Road likely to be paved soon, since the Mayor’s brother owns the lot 100 meters down the road. There is clear legal access road from National Hwy.
Our “White House” was the first built, now being followed by many others who are decorating the beach as well. My Filipino neighbor has started his own “Disney beach” – decorated with concrete-molded jet-ski toys for kids to play on. The 16-lot development is growing quickly as the mix of Filipino and foreigner neighbors create their dream houses, too. North-bound freeway will be finished soon. This will give direct run to city in less than 20 minutes. Prices will rise dramatically!
We will miss this house. Actually, the only reason we are selling is that our adoption of my wife's sister now makes this second vacation home impractical.
