There are few more relaxing and beautiful spots in this part of Asia than the site at which the Ban Pako eco-lodge is situated; 22 ha of land along the river Nam Ngum less than an hour from Vientiane, the capital of Laos.

Since 1993 guests have visited the eco-lodge, which over the years has been allowed to develop slowly and carefully in order to build an established and recognized brand name, Ban Pako.

The Company holds 22 ha of land with full land title whereof only approximately 2 hectares today are actually used for the resort with the remaining area being managed as a forest park with trails for walks. Through the land runs a number of small fresh water springs. This enriches the flora and fauna in the area and could be built into natural elements in the hotel park.

Ban Pako eco-lodge is located nearby one of the largest and most spectacular
national parks with mountain peaks reaching 1,300 meters. The park holds
wild elephants, waterfalls, bears and monkeys to be seen at hiking tours.

Many guests spend the night at the resort since they are traveling with one
of the many guidebooks that recommend Ban Pako. Among those most
important are Lonely Planet and Rough Guides. Ban Pako eco-lodge is
listed as the number one attraction around Vientiane in the 2008 edition of
Lonely Planet – Laos.

APATCO LTD holds following licenses: foreign investment license, business license, tax license and tourist license.

These licenses can also be used for extending the scope of the Company’s business to other regions or for
setting up other hotels or restaurants. The foreign investment license stretches for 15 years and ends 2010, all other licenses are renewed every year. The Company has started the renewal process of these licenses.
