By car: 500 km from Helsinki

From western Europe you can sail over the Baltic sea with Viking line (through Sweden and than to Finland) the Finnlines (Travemunde-Helsinki) or Tallink Silja Superfast (Rostock-Helsinki).

From Helsinki a 5 hours drive brings you to Polvijärvi.

Flying to Helsinki:

Budget flights are possible with Air Berlin from Düsseldorf, with KLM from Amsterdam also Finnair and SAS. With early booking you can obtain cheap tickets.

From Helsinki airport you can hire a car of take the Express bus to Kuopio. It’s a fast and comfortable way to travel.
