The cultural city of Montreux on Lake Geneva is less than one hour drive from Les Collons. The nearest airport is located in Sion (regional – with some flights to London) with Geneva less than two hours away.

The area offers outstanding walking and hiking trails with the opportunity for longer tours with accommodation available in mountain cabins e.g. to Lake Geneva. The 400km of ski runs are excellently maintained and linked to Verbier. Ski schools are available in Les Collons and throughout the ski region.

Other leisure activities in the region include cross country skiing, tennis courts in Les Collons, Les Masses,Vex and Heremence. There is also a bowling alley in Les Collons. Swimming is available in 3 lakes in Sion and an indoor pool in Thyon. For golfers there is a course in the Rhone Valley.
