Tatajuba village is just 25 km (by beach) from tourist hotspot Jericoacoara, is part of a national park filled with large sanddunes,mangroves, breathtaking sweetwater lakes, and broad beaches lined with palm trees.

The unique infrastructure (800m2 constructed) uses local materials to give charm to the pousada, such as taipa, palm thatched roofs and local woods, combined with a European construction style and quality materials, the pousada allies good taste and comfort.

Spread on the 6000 m2 tropical garden filled with coconut palms, fruit trees ,exotic plants and flowers we have constructed three different types of accomodation (described below), a beautiful reception area with office (62m2), garage (25m2), a comfortable caretakers cottage with seperate kitchen and bathroom (75m2), a restaurant and a large swimming pool with a bar and lounge area.

There is even enough space left on the terrain to construct at least four more large apartments without crowding, plus we throw in a small adjacent lot with a big Tamarind tree (650 m2) as part of the deal where you could also construct another stilt house and enjoy a seaview.

Two comfortable (36 m2 each) bungalows with private wooden verandas and a garden view, luxurious bathrooms and furnished with all amenities such as a kingsize double bed, minibar, airconditioning, ventilator, electric hot shower, closets and safe.

Situated under a big Tamarind tree lie two connected (42m2 each) cottages (Kitehouses) which are especially designed for families or small groups (up to 6 people), each of our two Kitehouses have a living room, two separate bedrooms with king-size double beds, two single beds upstairs, ventilators, minibar and safe. The spacious bathroom, toilet and washing area are conveniently seperated.

Two beautiful and luxuriously decorated (25m2 each) wooden pole houses (Palafitas), constructed four meters from the ground with a large veranda and a superb ocean and tidal river view, contain a king size double bed, hot shower, seperate bathoom, mini bar, electronic safe, a wooden writing desk and sofa.

The large open wooden, palafita style restaurant (143m2) with adjacent lounge area is set in the middle of the garden and has a big and complete professional stainless steel kitchen. In the back it has a seperate area with a traditional wood pizza oven and BBQ and space for the 'chefs table'.

Behind the restaurant is a large service area (63m2)with four rooms for freezers, storage of drygoods, maids quarters, linen room, a big laundry area and large closets for tools.

The big swimming pool area (325m2) was constructed in 2009 and enjoys a sea and river view and features a 12 by 6 meter pool with waterfall and hydromassage, a large wooden sundeck with pagode and sunbeds, two showers and a large lounge area with a cocktailbar, two bathrooms and a storage room.
