*TOTAL PRIVACY. Caretakers LIVE NEXT DOOR off the property but are still very close by if needed. NO PEERING EYES. Most homes in El Salvador, esp beach homes, have their caretakers sometimes with large families living in a small house in your front yard & you have no privacy.

*TV in Living room. Many English channels with Sky Satellite TV DISH.

*INTERNET WI FI throughout house.

If you want to be pampered, we have someone to cook all your meals, clean house & dishes daily, wash cloths as needed & do all your food shopping for you. ($100 per week).Holiday Weeks such as Xmas, New Years, Easter week & 1st week of August cost $130 a week. If you prefer the cleaning & cooking person less than the weekly rate, the prices are posted on the fridge for daily inside cleaning or per meal rates. Also we have additional service rates if you would like someone to only go to the store & do your grocery shopping for you.

*RANCHO CAJUN is located on SAN DIEGO PLAYA, El Salvador. Pronounced in Spanish as Rancho Kah-hoon by the locals living on the beach.

*SAN DIEGO PLAYA is a small beach community in El Salvador that has many American, Canadians & locals. Just a little way down the street on the beach is the local police branch office that adds extra security for our already safe beach community. We also have tall pole lights all along our beach street so the locals & tourist can walk or drive around at night. The streets are busy with locals walking around all day. Each morning locals riding their bikes ring their bell to sell large bags of fresh bread for $1 or less. There is also a guy who sell fresh cow milk on a bike. Each morning trucks & bikes will go by selling fresh produce, chicken & eggs. At 4pm, here come more people on bikes selling fresh sweet breads & pastries. Throughout the day, more on weekends, merchants will walk along the streets & beaches selling anything from hammocks, seafood, cheese, snowcones, hot dogs, pans, jewelry, etc. Also many small restaurants are located along the beach just in case you don't want to drive to La Libertad or San Salvador. The good thing is behind the tall wall of Rancho Cajun you can either get all the privacy & quiet you want or you can step out the front gate on the street and see how the locals live. The best of both worlds.

*If you do decide you want to take a 5 MINUTE DRIVE TO LA LIBERTAD, you will find a wide variety of restaurants, more great surfing locations, long fishing pier selling fresh seafood by the locals, a huge market area (the mercado) selling anything you could need by the locals. Right next to the long fishing pier the city has recently built a new beautiful area that has very modern restaurants, lots of parking & a cement beach walk that goes for many blocks along the Pacific Ocean all beautifully decorated in local tradition & colors. If you are looking for people watching, food, music, dancing and great night life, this is the place to go. It is where both the local & tourist go. Try it and I know you will like it.

*La Libertad area is one of the BEST SURFING LOCATIONS in the world with year round sunshine & warm water temperatures.

*SAN SALVADOR IS A 30 MINUTE DRIVE from San Diego Playa. San Salvador has malls, all different types of restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, etc. You can find anything you are looking for in this beautiful old city.

*Many American & Canadians own homes in San Diego Playa along with the locals.

*During 6 months of RAINY SEASON (May to October) we mostly have SUNNY DAYS and the rain usually arrives around 9 or 10pm and usually rains for a couple of hours & then stops.

DEPOSIT INFORMATION: A deposit is required to hold your reservation. The deposit required at time of confirmed reservations is $300 if renting house for 5 nights or more. $175 if renting house 1 to 4 nights. Please note that if you rent house for more than a week, a $300 deposit is required for each week of stay. Remaining amount will be due upon arrival. Please feel free to email me if you need more information on deposit. If renting on holiday weeks a higher deposit may be required.

Many that have rented the house have family members living in San Salvador. If you would like to send a relative to look at the house and bring the deposit at the same time, no problem. Please just have them make an appointment and Jackie, my manager, would be more than happy to show them the house first & then take the deposit. We have other options for sending the deposit if needed. Please email or call me if you need anymore information.

CANCELLATIONS : A full refund will be provided if the reservation is cancelled at least 45 days prior to arrival.
