In 1999, millions of plants and over a mile of manicured trails were added to the natural existing beauty of 60 mountain top, rain forest acres, next to the upper boundaries of Carara National Park. Visitors come from all over, 40% cruise ship passengers, 30% from local hotels, 20% group functions and 10% from people just passing through the area.

The “new road” from San Jose will be a reality in the next few months. Why does this help so much? There are 100’s of foreign businesses in San Jose and tens of thousands of visitors to San Jose. All attractions that are within a easy drive of San Jose are highly successful. This “new road” will place the gardens within this easy drive range.

Current operational expenses average $7,000 per month for the entire property. If someone chooses to not operate the gardens and use the property for private use the expenses for the restaurants and gift shops would be eliminated leaving only the garden expense of about $3,000 per month.
