House For Sale in Tronadora De Tilaran, Guanacaste Costa Rica Lovely Home In Quiet Village Nr Lake Arenal Asking Price: $79,000 USD Our comfortable home is on a quiet street in a delightful village, with a good supermarket only 5 minutes walk away. The level lot is almost 1/4 acre, it is private and fenced with trees, and new hibiscus planted all round for a hedge. There is plenty of space to grow vegetables, or simply make a beautiful garden. You can keep chickens or other small livestock, I kept my horse here. The local people are friendly and most try to speak some English with pride, there is almost no crime and the house is secure. Tilaran is 10 minutes away for all your shopping, there is an English church service there, and also in Arenal. there are lots of foreigners living around the lake, you won't be lonely, and everyone is helpful to newcomers. The beaches of Guanacaste are one and a half hours drive away.
This is a realy nice area to live, temps are 70-80F all year, and Lake Arenal is close by for fishing and sailing. We are moving to a house with a small garden, since I sold my horse I don't need such a big lot, and I'm not fond of gardening.
There is an assumable mortgage of about $50,000 at 7% with payments $905.56 monthly, 6 years to go. We are selling the house with all the furniture and aplliances including a washer and drier, TV, range and microwave
