And there are more than 20 beaches to discover.
This large property is now operating as a Guesthouse called Coco Loco with our family living downstairs and renting apartments on the second floor. We have many repeat customers who come every year. We live rent free and are happy to provide our apartment income.
In our Villa, there is a downstairs area with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It is fully air conditioned (for the summer months!) There is a large tile patio seating area in front and a giant back yard with fruit trees: mango, papaya, lemon, coconut, guava, pajuil and quenepo. The downstairs has a living room and dining room and kitchen also.
Upstairs, there are two apartments, completely furnished. Each has a kitchen, living room and large bathroom. One has two bedrooms, the other has one bedroom. There is a huge balcony which wraps around the entire front of the house and most of the side. There is another balcony which runs along the back of the house.
There are stairs to the rooftop where there are tables and chairs and umbrellas. The seating area is protected by fencing. On the rooftop you get a partial view of the ocean. We are very close, but there are many tall trees in our neighborhood!
The charming island is only 4 miles by 21 miles and has about 10,000 very friendly people. The villa is on a quiet and safe street where we know all of our neighbors, and help each other out. It has a Bioluminescent Bay which glows at night when the water is disturbed. People come from all over the world to take a night tour and visit the Biobay in a kayak or boat tour. It is the world's brightest, and one of only a few left. The attraction of the Biobay and the beautiful tranquil beaches lure a steady stream of tourists. You can rent apartments to the tourists and live rent free!
