Hacienda La Perla takes its name from Isla Iguana also known as Panama’s “Pearl of the Pacific”. Hacienda La Perla is the closest landfall to this beautiful protected island sanctuary, one of the most exciting destinations in the area. Just a short run from the property beach front, the island has 40 hectares of coral reefs, fabulous white sand beaches, snorkeling, scuba diving and world class sport fishing. The humpback whale visits our waterfront seasonally and from the high points on the ranch it is easy to view them breaching.

La Perla totals 116 hectares (286 acres) of beautifully manicured pastures, forests and several small lakes fed by abundant natural springs of fresh water. The forests are dense with enormous trees and spectacular wildlife. The finca is titled all the way to the waters edge having an old title recorded many years ago. The ranch has 1200 titled meters of beach front in the middle of 6 kilometer long pristine, uninhabited Mariabe Beach.

Many improvements have been made in recent years. There are about 3 kilometers of all weather interior roads giving easy access to the beach and other areas on the property.
