Our names are Dave and Sue Scott and for the past six years we have been living on an island paradise in Fiji.
Nananu-I-Ra Island (http:///) is on the northeast side of Viti Levu. A two-hour drive from Nadi Airport and ten-minute boat trip from the mainland puts you on a coconut palm fringed, white sand beach with excellent snorkeling and diving just a few metres from shore.
Just up from the beach, a sturdily built three-bedroom bungalow nestles in a one-acre tropical garden. The open plan living opens to a large deck overlooking the beach (30 metres from the house) and northwest views across the bay to the mainland- a perfect place to sit at the end of a day and enjoy the magnificent sunsets.
