(connected eventually with Monteverde)
in the Central Valley, away from commercial tourism.

A school, and a local shop are nearby. The local bus connection with San Ramon is planned to come to the house.

The position of the house is on a slight curve in the road, where a track curves off to the river behind the house.
It has privacy, easy access and mountain views.
The plot is small, 337 sq yd/ 282m2 requiring little maintenance. There might even be some space for growing a few veggies.
There are a couple of mature fruit trees, and some more have been planted.
The fence is covered with granadillas (passionfruit), and also maracuja has been planted
There are many birds around and even a sloth has been seen. River sounds from nearby Rio la Paz can be heard, though the river is not directly adjoining and is on a safe distance.

The ceiling is beautiful wood. The floor is tiled in a light colour.
The two bedrooms have a double and a single bed. The front room has two large windows, and could also be used as an office.

Most of the furniture, and curtains is included.
The house is equipped with all new electric wiring.
Electricity is the standard 110 volt, and there is also a double 110 volt,( for european 220 connection.)
There is a fixed telephone line with highspeed internet connection.

The contact with the neighbours is good. People are generally helpful.
Many of the locals do not speak english, and willingness to speak spanish is apreciated.
A few quiet foreigners are within easy walking distance. One neighbor can provide organic vegetables. Another has eggs and milk. Once or twice a week a car comes selling fruit/vegetables.

The house so far has been very much enjoyed as a private retreat house.
