Also, just announced in 2012 is the development of Serenity Gardens Eco Village.... We take pride in the stunning views and lush jungle that Osa Mountain sits on by protecting it as much as we enjoy it. Osa Mountain Village takes the first and very important step in this cause, while also providing amazing resort living experience which allows residents to be able to live happily on less then $500/month. With astounding "green" energy buildings, designed to minimize usage yet maximize luxury, as well as a food production system providing owners everything they need to survive on pennies on the dollar, life could never be so good for a price like this.

How is it possible?
It is a pretty simple concept . . . with each villa paying $150/month into the community HOA and labor costing us under $500/month per full-time person, we will have over $22,500 per month going towards food production and common-area maintenance. This food belongs to the members of the community. Our goal is to produce at least 80%, if not 100%, of our food on-site, which will reduce your monthly food costs considerably.

We have already planted over 3,000 fruit trees, including 5 kinds of oranges, and hundreds of amazing pineapple plants. We've planted almonds to bring in the Scarlet Macaws and Toucans. Other tree plantings are being scheduled right now as well!

We are also using vertical greenhouse and hydroponic systems for growing vegetables, herbs and spices. The system allows us to grow vast quantities of veggies in a relatively small area. Using these methods we can literally turn a 2000 square foot greenhouse into the equivalent of a 2.5 acre farm that produces over and over again in a year.

We have multiple large fresh-water talapia ponds producing healthy edible fish, and residents of Osa Mountain Village own a deep-sea fishing boat in which they rent out to tourists for charter and utilize themselves to supply their families and other residents of Osa Mountain Village with fresh ocean fish. Osa Mountain Village also has a large chicken coup producing eggs and chickens for residents to enjoy.

What about Entertainment?
The biggest cost besides food is entertainment. Once complete, our community will have a full-time concierge/event coordinator who will constantly be planning for the next Texas Hold-em tourney or concert, along with pool activities and BBQ parties. He/she will also plan beach trips, shopping trips and excursions. Not to mention all of the on-site activities previously mentioned above.
