Villa for Sale in Golden Rock, Liburds Estate, St. Kitts and Nevis

Maison Bleue: a Comfortable and Elegant Mode of Existence

This unique home, located a short walk above Brice Marden’s newly reimagined Golden Rock Plantation Inn, can best be described as a boho chic retreat. Its New York owners, having traveled the world, found the perfect location to create their own Tuscan influenced West Indian villa in Nevis.

The L shaped main compound, with more than 2,000 square feet of interior living space, provides total privacy and seclusion opening to splendid views of lush tropical gardens and the islands of Redonda, Montserrat and Antigua. The layout is especially conducive to family and friends entertainment spilling out from the rustic, mahogany ceilinged interiors to ample stone terraces. Every detail has been carefully planned and an amazing array of specifically chosen items including Pierre Deux fixtures, antiques from the Golden Lemon and beautifully finished pieces by local craftsmen, have found their place in this stunning home.

The ground floor living spaces have terracotta tile floors. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with tumbled marble countertops, a Garland Stove and other high end appliances. This space opens up into a large living and dining room. A corner of the living room has been set up as a movie theatre with some inviting cinema armchairs.

The detached and private guest bedroom is painted in vibrant colors emphasizing its spectacular views of the gardens and ocean.

The truly magnificent master bedroom suite covers the entire first floor. Its floors and beamed vaulted ceiling are of mahogany. It has a very spacious bathroom with a huge marble mosaic bathtub facing the sea. The suite also has a study area with full computer, high speed internet, cable, faxing and gorgeous views. Leaving the bedroom one crosses a small bridge to a magical, half-covered terrace perfect for breakfast at sunrise, drinks at sunset or late night stargazing and submarine race watching.

The outdoor living spaces are equally well-planned. You can relax by the koi pond, read under the pergola, take the sun by the 40 foot infinity lap pool or enjoy a sense of unity with nature in the various hidden nooks and crannies of the gardens.

At the bottom of the infinity pool hidden in among the bay and mango trees is a charming cottage where guests can enjoy full privacy.
