-Neighboring properties selling at $25-$30 per sq. meter. You can drive up and down the coast looking for ocean view properties, and you may find some listed online at $5 sq. meter-but those pieces will be tucked in an armpit, far from any civilization, with little views and no water and electricity (which is a costly hassle to achieve). For comparable properties in this area-this is a 1 in a million, and at this price its unassailable.

-Amazing panoramic views
It views of the Pacific ocean, a lush mountain range, and tropical jungle, that stays green all year round.

-This property has an abundance of tropical trees unlike most of the mountain real estate in the area. Including 5+varieties of palms, including the Tagua: which the natives refer to as “vegetable Ivory”, and they carve jewelry and figurines out of. The soil on the property is very fertile with wild fruits and vegetables sprouting.

-Wildlife
There are numerous species of birds, including parakeets and macaws (parrots), along with white tail deer, small wild pigs, monkeys and more.

-The property is Elevated 300 feet above sea level. Great protection from any ocean threats, but still takes in all the cool ocean breezes.

-This is by far the best deal that just hit the international market of real estate today.
Due to unforeseen infrastructure tribulations the owner must sell his personal lot within the property project he has availed. 2 years ago the property was purchased to develop a small community. In that time, underground power, a driveway, and access to water was implemented. The other lots that have sold are on the other side of the rolling hill, and his personal lot being adjacent, away from everything, with unobstructed views. By far, the “crème de la crème” of the mountain properties on the coast of Ecuador. This was going to be used as a personal residence (with no neighbors), but at this price and size, it can easily be subdivided into reasonably large lots and sold separately. Whether your intentions are to live in a peaceful, secluded jungle (10 min. away from amenities), subdivide, or create an Eco-project, this is the opportunity of a lifetime. His loss is your gain.

-5 minutes to Olon beach
Olon is a quaint town, lined with colorful pavers in the streets, with a large central park, private doctor clinics and veterinarians. On the ocean front it is lined with bamboo bungalow/huts serving the best traditional, local lunches in the entire country.
The beach is great for the entire family. Wide open sand, little to no rip, no drops offs and small waves (And best of all, very little people. They all go to the party side of Montanita)

-10 minutes to Montanita
Montanita is a surf town located at the beginning of the Coastal jungle (Guale) . Not long ago Montanita was merely a small village. However, over the last few years the town has been developing hotel and restaurant infrastructure and now offers a fun party-surf vibe that brings in a large mix of international tourism. Montanita is safe, with a strong local community that doesn’t tolerate crime. You will never have to worry about traffic jams, stop lights, or highways! Most commuting is done by foot or bicycle.
Montanita is truly the Ecuadorian surf capital, offering one of the best and most consistent surf spots in South America. The high season is from December to May, and generally it is sunny and warm every day. This is also the best time for good surf, many surf competitions and hosts the best Carnival fiesta. From the end of July to November, the weather is overcast and cooler and mists with rain most days. During these months, the Humpback whale travels up the coastline to mate. Amazingly, there are many days you can see them swimming from your hotel balcony, or you can chose to take a whale watching expedition and see them up close.

Not only is Montanita known for its surf, but also for the laid back fun atmosphere with people from all the over the world. The town boasts live music, has several dance clubs and a “Cocktail Alley” known for making the best fresh fruit drinks in town. From the hardcore surfer who gets up early to score some insane right hand barrels, to the party animal who wants to rage in town until dawn or to the person who likes to relax in a hammock and admire the peaceful beauty of the Point… it really does have something for everyone.

-45 minutes to shopping
Libertad and Salinas are two large cities located only 45 min south of Montanita. They boast all the amenities you can ask for: fancy hotels and restaurants, big “American style” shopping malls, open markets, a state-of-the-art hospital, a marina and a new boardwalk to cruise the coast and shop.
