Situated 250 feet above sea level on the East (Atlantic) coast of Dominica, Beau Rive is a small, intimate hotel that nestles into a lush hillside amid three acres of tropical gardens and forest. The design is inspired by Georgian / Caribbean architecture with high ceilings and handsome dimensions allowing natural airflow from refreshing ocean breezes. The setting is secluded and private with dramatic views over the ever-crashing waves at Wakaman Point.

All ten guest rooms have private facilities, are spacious, airy and with generous verandas facing the ocean. The tropical hardwood furnishings are handmade, and the overall style is classic, simple and traditional Caribbean. There are six guest rooms in the main house, two individual cottage rooms and one double cottage by the pool containing two guest rooms. In addition there is a laundry cottage and staff bedroom / shower.

Facilities include a lounge / library, bar / dining room and terrace, pool, and gardens leading down through the forest to the Richmond River, along which one can walk to the rocky beach below.
