Water Purification System –
Two dams have been built in order to catch water from two fresh water all year round underground sources to serve a 3-phase pump and a back up single-phase pump. The pump house is fitted with a changeover switch. It is pumped up through high-pressure pipes to the main distiller. This state of the art automated or manual system distils and purifies water to drinking standard.
Once purified it is pumped from the 5000-litre distiller tank to the main camp tank, holding 10,000 litres towering 80ft over the camp. The camp is gravity fed through high-pressure pipes to individual tanks at each tent, guest toilets, kitchen, and staff toilets so maximum pressure is engaged.
Each tank has a ball valve system so filling is controlled and usage is plentiful.
