We are the only ones who have lived in the home since it was built and we do not rent it out when we are gone. The caretaker of the property watches it while we are in the States or traveling and there is a dependable and reasonable gardener right there we hire to keep up the yard.

The 1998 Chevy Tracker is in good condition and has new tires all around. We have traveled around Belize with it, it gets good gas mileage and is dependable. It has a clear title and up to date registration.

Corozal is a great area of Belize because it gets 1/3 as much rain as Southern Belize, therefore less bugs, more sunshine, the Caribbean weather is wonderful and it is only 2 hours by water taxi and 30 minutes by air from the Cayes, Ambergris and Caye Caulker where you can dive and snorkel on the world's 2nd largest natural barrier reef. Corozal Town is right on the sea and we are 1-1/2 miles north of town on the Northern Highway, about 5 minutes from the water.

Santa Rita Heights sub-division is located 1-1/2 miles north of Corozal Town and Corozal Bay/Caribbean Sea and 7 miles south of the Mexican border and Chetumal, MX. Access is by the paved Northern Highway. The community is about 33 homes owned or rented by persons from diverse cultures, Americans, Canadians, British, and Belizean's. The first language in Belize is English.
