It is not a tourist area, but is an area of high end beach homes.

THE GUEST APARTMENT is 1 bedroom and it is available to reserve in July for 2 months through summer at $450 per month. The apartment is upstairs, with a window wall view of ocean and coconut grove, lots of breezes, tile throughout and very comfortable for 1 or 2 adults. It is completeley furnished with queen sized bed, refrigerator, and everything you need to move in. All utilities are included as well as weekly cleaning service and internet.. It has hot water, ceiling fans, (no ac) and screens as well as a battery inverter. Washer is on the premises.

THE BEACH COTTAGE is also available. It is 2 bedrooms - one bedroom is an upstairs loft style. It is of traditional island construction, palm wood and block, and high ceilings. It has patterned tile floors and mosaic bathroom - cute, comfortable, clean and authentic, but not luxurious. No screens and no air conditioning. It does have hot water, gas stove, inverter, and good refrigerator. It comes completely furnished with 2 queen beds and all kitchen and linens supplied and has 3 outside patio areas. You can use the garage for crafts, hobbies, car or bike/motorcycle parking. Weekly cleaning service, internet, and all utilities are included. Available now.
This area is drop-dead gorgeous!!, It is on a beautiful clear blue sea beach in a coconut grove. You will like this property and want to live there if you enjoy natural, local people, and a laid-back, peaceful life style. This is a residential area of expats, locals, and villa homes. The local area provides ocean swimming, beach combing, fishing, horse and bike riding, surfing, and other outdoor activities including gardening, and home-based hobbies such as, art, sculpture, ceramics, and cooking, as well as learning and speaking Spanish with local people and neighbors. Internet and cable are available. The tourist area of Cabarete is 15 minutes away by public transportation. The property is located 1/2 mile up the beach road, to the main road.
