This unique home started out as a 240 square foot abandoned shack on the beach, which was dismantled in 1981 and moved to its present location overlooking the Sea of Cortez one and one half miles north of Punta Bufeo., Thirty years later, with the help of our Mexican friends, the familia Fernandez, as well as our own family and Baja Buddies, we have completed construction. It will be up to the new owners to carry on.

This is a great home with (almost) all of the amenities of most homes in the USA. It is in move in condition, including all of the features described below, as well as all those things necessary to run a household: 2 barbecue pits, tools, tables and chairs, all kitchen utensils, pots, pans,linens,etc. etc.

The house has two small bedrooms with double beds (one a futon), and a twin bed for napping. Upstairs is a ten foot by twelve foot storage area which can be expanded to become another bedroom, and without much trouble, a second bathroom could be added. We have had as many as ten people with us (including children) who love to sleep on the roof in the open air. And we have had twenty-two adults for dinner on more than one occasion. Plenty of room on the three lots for a two car plus garage, or guest house. This is a leased property with the current rent at $600 per lot, $1800 per year. New owners will probably be looking at $800 per lot, but that will be negotiable.

And don't forget the fishing, swimming, beachcombing, bird watching, snorkeling, sunning, sailing, diving, motorcycling, the Baja 1000, and maybe a little partying.
