We are in Brazil in the state of Bahia, along the coast connecting the two historic cities of Ilhéus and Itacarè. The Maisha Resort is a protected area, located at the border of one of the luxuriant natural park of the Mata Atlantica, one of the most beautiful eco system in the world.
In this place you can breathe peace far away from civilization, in symbiosis with nature. Crossed by a small natural river, Maisha Resort is only accessible by a bridge of reinforced concrete, capable of supporting up to 20 tons.

The land covers about 17 acres, including a 200 meters full titled beach. The propertyhas the environmental permit, approved by the government of Bahia, for the construction of 3200 square meters building,including architectural design approved by the Prefecture of Ilheus.
The whole complex is stocked with hot water heated by solar panels. The sewage treatment system with biogas is active and works with very little maintenance. The resort is equipped with WiFi internet access and satellite phone.

The beach
The beautiful private beach in front of Maisha extends for 200 meters. Brazil is famous for its golden sands. At Maisha Resort, you have easy access to the beach, located a few meters away from the buildings.

The Chalets
Three chalets for guests, one as restaurant bar, a Manor house and two chaletsin advanced stage of construction

Currently there are three independent chalets with sea view, bedroom and bathroom with Jacuzzi® whirlpools. Two of them have a mezzanine with a sofa and a little terrace.
Chalets are made entirely of wood,mainly of local l the furniture is handmade by local craftsmen. The chalets are named after the main interiors’ color : Chalet Ambra, Chalet Orange and Chalet Azul.
Two of them are of 70m2 while the third is 50m2. The manor houses is on three floors with atotal size of 3239 s.f. It includes 3 suites, one of them with e ground floor includes a courtyard, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom; the first floor includes two suites with services and solarium; the second floor includes a suite with services and a studio with veranda.

Restaurant and Bar
The restaurant can accommodate up to 50 guests in a typical eucalyptus wood patio directly facing the large swimming pool. The structure recalls the typical colors that characterize the old colonial town of Ilheus.
Bathrooms and interior
All chalets are equipped with luxurious bathrooms with Jacuzzis ®.

The swimming pool
The pool is perfectly in keeping with the natural environment and the structure of the resort. In the evening it is illuminated by different colors which create a suggestive atmosphere. The pool is provided with Jacuzzi pumps and contains about 47,000 gallons of water supplied from an artesian well and treatment station.

Power plant
The resort is provided with a power plant for independent electricity distribution, a 6000-liter water heater and solar panels for water heating.
