A beautiful 6th Floor condo on the quiet side of the building from Via Argentina with 3 large bedrooms and 3 fully equipped bathrooms. There are only 2 condos per floor and the building has mostly older residents. 

The whole condo was stripped of all tiles, both floor and walls, all of the plumbing and all the electrical fittings and lights, and the whole condo rewired with a new breaker box and mostly re-plumbed. (I have a map of which breakers control which circuits.) The entire kitchen was broken out and half the walls removed to allow access from the living and pantry areas. None of the original fittings including all bathroom fittings and all laundry fittings were left in place, all were removed. All the louvre windows, other than those in the bathrooms have been replaced by dark glass aluminum framed windows. The condo is on a north-south orientation and the entire living area can take advantage of the east-west breezes by just opening the east and west balcony doors. I grew extensive fern baskets and palm varieties on both balconies and always had "red doves" and "variable seed eaters" nesting in the vegetation and hummingbirds feeding from the feeder that I erected. 

The total original floor tiling was replaced using a diagonal pattern of non slip white tiles throughout the condo. The bathrooms, kitchen and laundry were all tiled with glossy white tiles from floor to ceiling. The maid's quarters were turned into a laundry with an on-demand water heater a Samsung washer and a Frigidaire gas drier and a large wash sink. The maid's bathroom was changed into a 3rd bathroom, equipped with the same fittings as the other two bathrooms (shower and sink with hot and cold water and toilet). 

Every electrical fitting in the condo was properly wired to US code standards by a professional Panamanian electrician and I added outlets to where I thought I might want them. The current office has 2 circuits for the computers and the large fridge in the kitchen has its own circuit, all three of which are isolated from the rest of the house circuit breakers. 

The kitchen was opened up to the living area and to give it light and easy access from all sides. The counter tops are all composite and are finished in a glossy, easy care black composite.  Those on the north side of the kitchen were designed to allow for bar-stool eating from both sides and storage is all done on shelves, both glass, on the walls and adjustable height, chromed steel gridded shelves under the composite counters. The sink is a white composite and is high enough for me to wash dishes without leaning over. A dishwasher can be seen on the east wall of the kitchen, close to the sink. 

All three bedrooms have fans and air-coditioners and enough outlets for most needs. The two that are currently used as bedrooms have louvered door hanging cupboards, the length of the wall adjoining the door and cupboards above these for storage, while the 3rd, currently used as an office, has steel book cases for my collection of books. The office has cable and a fast internet line (2Mbps) and it is a matter of a call to access TV which I don't use. All bedroom windows have blinds behind the darkened aluminum window frames. 

All the condos in the building have a single covered parking space which is watched over in the day by the concierge and at night by a night watchman. Admission to the building is through a front door which has a telephone to each condo and this admission is by request only. 

The neighborhood of El Cangrejo is wonderful and centrally located, close to shops of all types, movie-houses, great restaurants, casinos, hip bars, a lovely park, great gym and many other interesting places easy to access from this location.
