Boutique Hotel for Sale in Areopoli-Haria, Lakonia Sparta-Mani, Greece
Castle in Mani'' Boutique Hotel''
Laconia’s landscape is formulated by the two imposing mountain ranges of Taygetus and Parnon, which form two peninsulas that meet in the amphitheatric harbor of Gytheio (the name means ‘Land of Gods’), while the historic Sparta, capital of the prefecture, lies at the feet of Taygetus. Laconia claims some of the country’s greatest historic monuments: Pelana and Monemvasia (at the Parnon leg), Mystras (the second Byzantium), and Mani (at the Taygetus leg). The famous Mani region, the only unoccupied region amidst 400 years of Turkish rule in Greece, takes you to an out-of-this-world trip with its impressive landscapes, high stone Towers and the perpetual baptism in its Light, Sun and Sea. Unique villages, such as Vatheia, built high on a rock, with a dense cluster of towers. The Diros caves, of rare beauty and size, are acknowledged internationally as the world’s best cavern system, with stalagmites and stalactites in exquisite colors and forms. The cave, with entrance in the Diros sea, will awe the visitor of its land and lake parts. The cave’s archaeological finds (skeletons and artifacts) are constantly studied and researched by the International Scientific Community.
Above the Diros caverns lies Mani’s most traditional and historic village, Haria, just 4 kilometres from Areopolis (the city of Ares /Mars). You can walk the cobbled streets of Areopolis, swim the turquoise waters of Limeni and Diros, and visit several historic Towers.
In Haria’s entrance rise two beautiful reconstructed towers dated from 1836, that serve as A-class luxurious traditional accommodations under the name CASTELLO DI HARIA, expressing centuries of tradition. From the outside they are austere, imposing, representative of the architecture of Mani. Upon entering, you will immediately taste the unique combination of tradition, luxury and coziness, absolutely interwoven with the Maniatic style.
The hotel consists of two Towers with 13 luxurious rooms: 2-bed, 3-bed, 4-bed and suites, all equipped for comfort and finesse.
The complex lies in a piece of land with a total area of (301 sq.m. + 934 sq.m.) = 1,235 sq.m.

The second floor (40 sq.m.) has a 3-bed room and a belvedere (40 sq.m.) with yet another 3-bed room.
In Tower B (409 sq.m), the ground floor (177 sq.m.) consists of: the reception, the staff room, a kitchen, storeroom, bathroom and a bedroom with veranda. There is also a second lounge with bathroom and veranda. In the first floor (160 sq.m.), with wonderful terraces (33 sq.m.), you can find the lounge, the living room and a dining room, all with amazing view from the spacey verandas. In this floor there are also three bedrooms with their own bathrooms. In the second floor (36 sq.m.) there is a 3-bed room with two separate spaces, a bathroom and a veranda. The same layout is to be found in the third floor (36 sq.m.).

The rooms are arched, preserved with respect. With wooden doors, ceilings and storage spaces, stone walls and arches, an architecture that conveys a unique feeling, but also equipped with the latest technologies.
The stonework is a produce of love, by craftsmen who aimed to regenerate, complement, co-create with the craftsmen of yesterday the Towers’ outer walls, originally built in 1836.
The surrounding area is arranged with green spots and decorative plants, interwoven with stone pathways leading to quiet niches where you can enjoy breakfast. At night, the tables around the bar compose a romantic scenery in the shadow of the beautiful Towers as they are embraced by the twilight’s sweet light.
Nothing is left unchecked – every niche of this gorgeous complex speaks of nobility and luxury, functionality and special attention, transpiring the feeling that everything is designed exclusively for the visitor’s pleasure.
