Maximum annual past production has been 1,300,000 pounds. The farm has a potential to produce 2,000,000 pounds D´Agen plums per year with the existing trees.
Every 8 days, 48 hours of surface irrigation water arrives by ditch. Surface irrigation water is supplemented by the 50,000 gallons/hour well pump when necessary. The 2010-2011 growing season has been a La Niña drought year requiring the maximum usage of the pump at 16 hours per 8 day cycle.
The additional 170 acres of the property include 17 acres ready for planting or construction and 153 acres which are vacant grass land and have been used to run about 20 head of cattle. Possible future uses for this investment property include: construction of your own custom house, plum or olive tree production, a plum drying area by sun or oven, development of homes or industry, feedlot, gas station, horseback riding or other possibilities.
You will own all the implements used for production, including a 2009 Deutz 95 hp double traction tractor, 1974 Fiat 400 Standard tractor, large disc rake with new discs, 430 gallon Malanca sprayer (2005) and various plows and tools with your purchase.
