Sharer Wanted for Chateau or Holiday Lets

I am looking for a sharer (or sharers) for my beautiful Gascon home. Alternatively holiday lets of at least 2 weeks duration or on a "time share" basis would be considered. The rental would depend on the basis of the letting.

The chateau is huge with very large rooms and plenty of storage space in attics or out buildings. It dates from the 15/16th century with 19th century additions. It is of massive stone construction so maintains a very even temperature throughout the year. It is fully centrally heated.

It is furnished to a high standard but for a long term share unfurnished rooms could be arranged. A suite of rooms can be provided for the sharers' sole use with own bathroom but absolutely self contained is not realistic - although seperate entrance is possible.

The house is situated in a hectare of wooded land in a secluded & tranquil rural location. The climate is benign and warm.

There are many fine caves and restaurants of all catagories in the vicinity. There are also many mediaeval buildings & D'Artagnan's chateau is only a couple of killometers away. The local villages all have farmer's markets and there are many farm shops selling local fresh produce at very cheap prices.

The river Baiise is close by with pleasant boat trips, walks and riverside restaurants & ice cream parlours. There is also a lake for swimming close at hand.

There is a large stone built carport also a very large lockable garage/workshop and the utility room is in the outbuildings. Many cars can be parked on the forcourt..
