The property is hidden on top of the beautiful hills of Montezuma, just 3 km from the center of town and beaches, nestled among wild forest and panoramic plateaus. Being far enough from the main road, privacy and peace are guaranteed all the time, as well as plenty of Costa Rican wildlife on a daily basis: birds, humming birds, butterflies, monkeys, squirrels, iguanas, raccoons…
 
The land measures 5.3ha ( 13 acres +) of amazing tropical gardens and untouched jungle, bordered by a little river.

The cozy and intimate hotel has 12 pleasant rooms (part of them with ocean views), each one with private bathroom and a patio.
The charming and romantic restaurant is located close to the pool and enjoys a spectacular ocean view. Sunrise, sunsets and full moon rise are fantastic from there.
The hotel and restaurant enjoyed major renovations (new bathrooms, new equipment and more) and also 2 new buildings (4 superior rooms) in 2005.

The place gets the name from the owner's passion for horses. The horsestable has 8 stalls and from there it is ideal to organize horse back riding tours through one of the many country side trails on the hills or down to the beaches. There is nothing more romantic then a ride to Playa Grande beach on a full moon night!

The recently built little wooden house is the perfect spot for a small SPA.

At the entrance of the hotel there is a spacious parking lot.

The property includes a two-storey luxury villa (2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms, built in 2009) which measures 200 m2 (2152.782 ft²) with private pool and ocean view.
This Zen Style Villa is perfect for an additional rental income or as a luxury owners home.

There is also a two-story wooden house (made of certified pine wood – 2 bedroom apartment, 1 bedroom apartment) and a small caretaker house.

All stuctures are in perfect condition.

The entire establishment has solar panel system for the hot water and treatment system for waste water to river quality, which indentifies Finca Los Caballos as an example of ecological development.
