The local wildlife is amazing with agoutis, pacas, coatamundis, cappuchins and anteaters to name a few of the many animal species. However the prize of the area are the Mantled Howler monkeys,which although endangered in Panama, are numerous in the area and their calls are heard morning and evening. There are 11 wild troops in the area and they often frequent the gardens and trails.

The present house is an Australian outback style, collection of buildings, which comprises of 3 bedrooms ( one with ensuite), a huge lounge area, a toilet,shower and washroom, laundry, kitchen and storeroom/ workshop. There is space and the possibilty to build more cabins and jungle huts. Five marked jungle trails allow guests to wander through the jungle with relative ease.

For those with a different interest the property has been planted up by the horticuluralist owners as a haven for tropical plants and trees including vanilla which you can pollinate and later harvest and cure, make your own chocolate from the cocoa you harvest and enjoy a green pepper steak with fresh peppercorns off the vine just for starters. With a wealth of flowering plants suitable for cutting there could be a revenue source either in the local/ Panama City area or even for export. Plant,bird and butterfly lists are available on request.

Power is currently supplied via generators to the house and the refridgerator is run off a propane (LPG) tank. Mains power is available from the local utilities provider but at present is 3 km away.

The property can be kept in its present mode as an ecotourism venture which can be increased and added to. Or for those who would prefer something private and spectacular,just to use the property as their own personal paradise or to turn it into a private retreat for a select few.
