Description:

Tourists from all over the world visit the Tortuguero Rainforest where this property is located. In the rear of the property is Cano Palma. There are many breathtaking other canals with beautiful scenery for all types of nature lovers. Even for Costa Rica this is an outstanding scenic Tour through the Rainforest.

The property has electricity that runs along the coast and a fresh water well for drinking. Many exotic plants and hardwood trees garnish the property where white face monkeys make their homes as well as many exotic birds, toucans, songbirds, and much more. The beaches in Tortuguero are nesting grounds for large turtles as is my beach. The soil is very fertile and just about anything grows rapidly. .
It is a very precious piece of land, close to all the National Parks in Tortuguero. Costa Rica has set aside more than a quarter of the country for National Parks and wild life refuges.
There are no cars in Tortuguero although a road to Tortuguero exists, but which is rarely used. All people travel by boat. It is a 45 minute boat ride from the main land. This protects the nature of the rainforest.
Basically, my farm is part of a Peninsula with many breathtaking canals. Cano Palma is loaded with great tasting fish, making it a paradise for the sport fisherman. Many boat tours pass by my farm every day. Sometimes 6 to 8 boats a day.

This property of 30 acres with 700 feet of beach front property is a very valuable piece of property It could be developed into a beautiful Tourist Resort with Private Park as it has great potential for building cabins and a restaurant that are in great demand in this part of the country for tourism. I expect its value to double within the next 3 to 5 years.

In case you are unfamiliar with Costa Rica, here is how to get to us from San Jose, its capital. Take the highway East from San Jose for 48 miles to Guapiles. Then, continue North about 20 miles through the country side to where you catch the boat to Tortuguero, or Cano Palma where my farm is. Oh, I nearly forgot, we have no hurricanes in Costa Rica.
