2 Minute Walk to Coco Beach! 2 Bedroom Townhome with Pool

This is a 2 level two bedroom townhouse (approx. 700 sf) located in a new development along El Coco beach. It has a living area with a fully equiped kitchen and 1/2 bath downstairs, 2 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs. There is a/c in both bedrooms and ceiling fans downstairs which keep it very comfirtable. The balcony overlooks the pool area and has great views of the hillside areas.

This townhouse is only about 200 meters from the beach, about 2 minutes walk (slowly, no hurries here) and a 10 minute walk into town along the road or the beach. There is a commercial center in the condo complex with a great Italian restaurant, internet cafe, a mini mart and several other shops. You can also rent bikes and kayaks in town.

There are several dive shops that offer lessons in town and dives out to some islands and other dive sites. I've been told that the marine life is fascinating on these dives. You can also snorkel from the beach and see a lot. There are surf tours to places like Ollie's Point and Witch's Rock, and Tamarindo is about an hour's drive away. There is no surf at the beach here (and no rip tides either) so the beach is safe for swimming and children. There are also several national parks nearby, great for day trips. Sport fishing, bird watching and canopy tours are also very popular and nearby. The howler monkeys about a block towards the beach are fun to watch, too.

The newly expanded Liberia Airport is only a 30 minute drive from here, it's your best place to fly into, if possible. There are 60+ flights a week, many from the US and Canada, and now Europe, too.

El Coco has many restaurants, stores and some nightlife where you can hear and dance to lots of latin sounds. Walking around town, visiting various shops and relaxing at the park are great ways to spend a day. There is a small aprk in the center of town where you can get these delicacies called, "granizados" or "copos". It is a shaved ice cone with powered milk and condensed milk added, very sweet and cold. El Coco still has that small beach town feel, and is not a full-blown "resort" type place.

Regular Season - Feb 1 to April 30th - $70/night, 3 night min or $475/week
Green Season - May 1st to Dec 19th - $60/night, 3 night min or $385/week
Holiday Season - Dec 20th to Jan 31st - $85/night, 3 night minimum or $550/week.
Rates for Easter week - same as Holiday season
