Summit Lodge is ideally situated on the doorstep of South Africa's magnificent Panorama Route. Surrounded by a lush indigenous garden, this 3 star Lodge offers a variety of accommodations to please everyone’s tastes and budget. The traditional African village setting of our thatched rondavels, a honeymoon suite, 2 self catering family units, the rustic wooden cabanas with private veranda or our backpackers original SAR train coach and camping area appeals to a wide market base both locally and internationally. This well established business has a high occupancy rate with many returning guests.

There is also a conference center beside the pool and braai area which can be used for meetings, teaching groups, weddings etc.

Also included in the sale of the business is a fully licensed restaurant and pub which is very popular with both the lodge guests and the locals in town. The restaurant is well known for its cordon bleu menu at reasonable prices. We Always get plenty of compliments for our food!

Many recent upgrades completed including new thatch, new paint all around, pool pump and filtration system replaced 6 months ago. New linen and towels, blankets and duvets purchased for all rondavels; new tumble dryer in laundry. Managers suite was completely renovated with all new fixtures in both bathrooms, new cupboards in bedrooms and kitchen, new tiles throughout. All ceilings and walls were replastered and painted.

The lodge is tastefully decorated with interesting African artworks included in the sale along with all furniture, linen, towels, kitchen/restaurant wares etc. Everything needed to coninue with the business. Owners willing to assist with all aspects of take over and training new owners if necessary.
