There is a one car covered carport with a small attached "deposito" that contains the water filtering system, propane tanks for the house and serves as a storage area for tools. A 1200 gallon buried water tank assures a plentiful supply of water at all times. In addition to the covered walkway from the carport to the house, there is a wrap around porch on all four sides of the house. Each of the main rooms has ceiling fans and no air-conditioning is needed because of the elevation of our home. Nights are normally cool and sleeping is excellent.
Our neighborhood is a mix of both Panamanian and expat homes. Our home is located away from the main road and is therefore much quieter. Utilities have been placed underground so our views are open and unobstructed. Electricity has typically run about $35.00 per month, water is $4.00 and propane varies according to the availability and cost of the propane.
