Our beaches and rain-forest covered mountains are still un-spoiled, however 3 years ago the main InterAmerican highway that runs all the way down Central America to Panama was paved. There are plans underway for a new international airport to be built in the near future, 25 miles south of our area, which would serve southern Costa Rica and northern Panama. We are now more easily accessible and are being promoted as the "last undiscovered and most bio-diverse area in Costa Rica".
