The original house has a covered & tiled back porch with bar, suitable for dining or entertaining guests. It has one LARGE open kitchen/living/diningroom. The kitchen is suitable for serving guests, if requested. It has a bedroom downstairs & a loft,with beautiful spiral staircase, which could also be used as an extra bedroom. Ceilings are 20' (wood beam). one bathroom with shower & bathtub is included.

The upstairs apt. has a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom & veranda overlooking the sea. It has both clothes closet & linen closet in addition to another large closet. The "living" area includes dining space & kitchenette. The ceilings are high & natural finish beam. It also has a lovely, covered back porch with built-in seating & glass top table, with a view of hills & foliage to the south. Furnishings in bedroom include mahogany four poster bed, chest with padded seating, & small chest of drawers. Ensuite bathroom has medicine cabinet & small, tasteful cabinet for storage. A lovely, locally made TV cabinet, with wicker insets adorns the large living area along with a dbl. oak futon that can be used for extra sleeping. Fill size gas stove & small frig. are included, plus glass topped round table for dining & 4 wicker chairs.

The downstairs apt. has 2 bedrooms with bathroom in lovely arched hallway to service both. The front bedroom opens it's lovely arched cedarwood doors to a veranda, perfect for relaxing. The open concept living area has plenty of cabinets for kitchen storage plus an additional 2 closets for misc. storage. There is also plenty of room with a large round table for eating. Wicker/bamboo shelf for TV, plus dbl. oak futon for extra sleeping. Kitchen appliances & cookware included.

All rooms in both apts.(except bathrooms) have high quality ceiling fans installed in addition to AC units in all bedrooms. All rooms are tastefully decorated.

This property is just a short walk down a country lane to a beautiful, white sand unspoiled beach, rarely populated. You will feel as though it is your own private beach. The vibrant colors of the Caribbean sea never cease to amaze me. Very near to this beach is a fisherman's beach where you will be able to purchase FRESH fish, lobster & crab directly from the fishermen & divers. There are also 2 local cookshops/bars located on the beach, along with a row of craft shops displaying local woodcarvers creations along with Ja. souveniers. It is a wonderful place to get to know the locals with NO PRESSURE to buy. Leroy's Bar has love local reggae music every Sat. & is a good time had by all.

The yard of the property also has a small board house that could be used for a caretaker or for storage. There is also a concrete outdoor kitchen and area for grilling & jerking.

Current owner would be willing to train future owner in hospitality & logistics of running the property or would be willing to stay on to do same.

Keep in mind that the $1,500 US for monthly rent is for one apt. only, not the whole house, for persons wanting a short term rental (at least 3 months min.) This includes all utilities & once a week washing of linens & basic cleaning of apt.
